Concurso de fotografía "IMAGO europæ"

In recognition of the European Year 2011, the Europe Direct Centres in Tuscany are pleased to announce the fourth edition of the "IMAGO europæ" photo competition.

This year’s title is “FOCUS ON volunteering” and is dedicated to the European year of Volunteering 2011.

The main objective of the contest is to promote volunteering through the use of photography. Photos should demonstrate ways in which Europeans are contributing to the betterment of society through volunteer opportunities. While the photos can be global in scope and can focus on international volunteering, they must somehow relate to the European Union or its citizens.

How to participate: Fill in the application form including a photo short explanation (maximum 150 words) in Italian or English and send it together with the photo by e‐mail to imagoeuropae@comune.fi.it  no later than 1 August 2011.

Prizes for the Competition:

- Prize of the Technical Jury: iPad, Computer tablet from Apple;

- Prize of the Popular Jury: iPad, Computer tablet from Apple

In occasione dell'Anno Europeo del Volontariato 2011 il coordinamento toscano dei centri Europe Direct (Firenze, Livorno, Pisa e Siena) bandisce il Concorso fotografico “FOCUS ON volunteering”, quarta edizione di “IMAGO europæ”, quest’anno dedicato all’Anno europeo del volontariato).

L’obiettivo primario del concorso è promuovere il volontariato mostrando attraverso la lente della macchina fotografica diversi modi in cui in Europa il volontariato contribuisce al miglioramento della società, mettendo in risalto sia le attività realizzate nel “vecchio continente”, sia i progetti seguiti da organizzazioni europee nel resto del mondo .

Possono partecipare al concorso tutti coloro che abbiano compiuto il sedicesimo anno di età e siano residenti in uno degli Stati Membri dell’Unione Europea, o dei paesi del bacino del Mediterraneo (Algeria, Egitto, Israele, Giordania, Libano, Marocco, Palestina, Siria, Tunisia e Turchia) o dei Balcani o in Croazia, Norvegia, Svizzera. La partecipazione al concorso è gratuita.

È prevista l’assegnazione di due premi:Premio della Giuria tecnica: iPad, Computer tablet della Apple;Premio della Giuria Popolare: iPad, Computer tablet della Apple; La scadenza è prevista per il 01.08.2011.
